Support the Mayors

The Mayors Innovation Project is a membership-based, non-profit, non-partisan organization. We rely on the support of our member cities, as well as business and organization sponsorships, foundation grants, and individual donations, to keep providing a forum for mayors and staff to learn, share, network, and innovate.

Become a member city

We welcome all North American Mayors to join our network. Membership entitles each city to send one person to every MIP meeting, and we are committed to working with cities to accommodate their budget cycles and individual situations. Learn more about membership here or contact us.

Become an event sponsor

Our limited engagement with sponsors to date, our high caliber attendees, and the focused, engaged atmosphere of our meetings mean that sponsorship is of high value to companies that work in the municipal market. We host at least two meetings a year. Contact us to learn more.

Donate as an individual or foundation

Gifts to support the Mayors Innovation Project can be made through the COWS (Center on Wisconsin Strategy) University of Wisconsin Foundation account. The Mayors Innovation Project is housed at COWS, a center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. COWS is a national policy center and field laboratory for high-road economic development — a competitive market economy of shared prosperity, environmental sustainability, and capable democratic government.
